2018 Children's Programs
A Creativity Lab for Children and Families can be found in the invention gallery. Here kids of all ages can design, build, and test their own inventions utilizing the materials at hand.
NEW this summer Rufus Porter Museum is sponsoring:
for students grades K-6th. Camp will be held Steven's Brook Elementary School in Bridgton. The program is run by the National Inventor's Hall of Fame in partnership with the US Patent Office. Registration is through the National Inventor's Hall of fame.
Over the course of the summer, Children's Hour days will be held similar to last season's activities. The dates will be announced later this spring.
All session will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am and are designed for children ages 3 - 12 years old. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children and join in the fun. Older and younger siblings, too!
Come find our booth at Art in the Park on July 21 and find out what we're making this year!
More activities will take place during the Ice Cream Social on August 4.
Homeschool groups activities are availalbe at the museum from June - October, please email a member of our education team below.
