While the Rufus Porter Museum galleries will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, our campus is the place to be for the community’s historic 250th Anniversary celebration! We are proud to participate in this monumental town milestone and invite you to join us for a morning of patriotic fun.

We’ve got the perfect front-row spot in town to catch all the excitement, plus plenty of activities for the whole family!

What’s Happening on the Museum Campus:

  • 🏃‍♂️ Prime Parade & Race Viewing: Pull up a chair and watch the 4 on the 4th runners and the grand 4th of July Parade go right by!

  • 🎶 The Bridgton Band Live: Enjoy a spectacular pre-parade concert right here on campus.

  • 🎈 Family Fun & Treats: We’ll have a dedicated activities table just for the kids, plus complimentary refreshments to keep you cool.
