Discover the timeless charm of the penny rug in this hands-on workshop. Traditionally crafted from repurposed wool scraps, penny rugs are a classic American folk art consisting of layered circles—historically sized like a penny—hand-stitched into vibrant, functional table mats or decorative tapestries. In this beginner-friendly session, you will learn the essential stitching and assembly techniques to create your own heirloom-quality piece.
Fee: $15 per person – all supplies and light snacks will be provided
