Admission
Adults $8; Seniors and groups over 15 are $7. Children 15 and under are free.
Directions
From Portland, ME
Follow Route 302 west to Bridgton, approximately 32 miles. At the second light in Bridgton, turn left continuing to follow Route 302. Keep right at the top of the hill. The Rufus Porter Museum is 3/10ths of a mile on the right past the monument. For museum parking, turn right onto the drive directly after the museum, before Taylor Town Road.
From Southern Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts
Follow Interstate 95 up the Maine Turnpike to Exit 48. Turn right when leaving the tollbooth and go straight through 2 lights. At the third light, turn left onto Route 302. From there, follow directions above.
From Central and Northern New Hampshire
Follow Route 302 east into Fryeburg, Maine. The museum is located approximately 15 miles east of Fryeburg, just beyond Highland Lake Resort on the left. Entrance to the museum parking is directly after Taylor Town Road. Taylor Town Road.
